5/23/09...The "Yu-Mann" union finally took place on May 23, 2009 at St. Clarence Pavilion in North Olmsted, OH. Hal Schroeder of DV8ED Photography did an awesome job at capturing our wedding day. You can view our photos at Hal's website, www.dv8ed.com.
5/21/09...It's 2 days before the "Yu-Mann" union and we have a picture of our latest piece of work. This was a collaborative effort by Carol and myself, with the finished product due around the first week of October.
1/31/09...Carol's nephews, Lorenzo and Alonzo Tovanche, "blessed" the studio with their "Lion Dance" on The Chinese New Year. Lorenzo is 5 years old and Alonzo is 3 years old.
1/7/09...We've added a new page, Yu-Mann Gallery , to the site. Carol and I (with the help of Joe, Lui, and Quang) have fixed up the studio space that we acquired in April, to what I call 85% complete. So, along with the space being my photo studio, it will also double as a gallery. For now, I have my Digital Paintings on display. Once things get a bit more established, we will entertain the idea of hosting openings for other artist's work. If you would like to stop by, please call (216.333.1599...Scott Mann Photo) between 10am-4pm, Monday-Friday to schedule a visit. Appointments can also be set up for an evening visit as well.
The city of Upper Sandusky, OH will be having a 15 year reunion for "TheShawshank Redemption". The celebration is for the people that participated in the scenes that were filmed in that area. I had been invited to partake in the festivities, but unfortunately I will not be able to be present. For those that may be interested in this event, here is a link to their website:
8/4/08...On our annual trip to Myrtle Beach, I proposed to my girlfriend, and partner in crime, Carol Yu, in front of "TheVisionaries" statue located in the Brookgreen Gardens. On the third anniversary of the day we met, she said "Yes".
